Have you ever experimented with animation before? I invite ( and challenge you) to create a square, looping, animated GIF. The subject can be anything you choose! You are welcome to animate in 2d digital, 3d, traditional, stop-motion or photography. The use of AI-generated animation/images will not be permitted.

But other than that… ANYTHING GOES AS LONG AS IT’S ANIMATED!

This exhibition will be putting the animators of Swindon onto a projector together for the first time!

A bit about your curator

Since graduating my animation degree in 2013, I have been working almost solidly as a freelance 2D animator. Usually, I work on animated kids’ T.V. shows but occasionally I work on games, short films and music videos. Since Covid, I've been able to work from home. When my partner and I moved to Swindon in 2023, we were able to get a studio with Artsite where I've been helping out in my free time as much as possible. It's been wonderful having a committed space to create art and connect with the community.
