Welcome back to another exciting year of the Swindon Arts Fringe!
Its 2026 and we’re excited to announce another art-filled summer in our beautiful town of Swindon.
The Swindon Arts Fringe is a non-profit, artist led festival for artists of all levels and backgrounds to see their art up in exhibitions all around the centre of Swindon. We aim to utilise other-wise empty spaces and turn them into bustling gallerys open to the public from the 15th to 28th of June 2026.
call out for curators Open now!
Please read all of the information below before applying!
You don't need any prior experience with running an exhibition to apply and we welcome (and encourage!) people of all backgrounds and levels to take part. This is a non-profit, community art event and is completely free to be a part of.
Here are some other bits you should know:
✨We have an in-person meeting at Artsite every month or so to catch up with the curators and see that everyone is on track!
✨We will be communicating through a Whatsapp group chat.
✨SWAF 2026 will run from Monday 15th of June to the Sunday the 28th including weekends.
✨We will require two weeks of your time in June to run the festival and will ask that you help others where you can.
✨SWAF is brought to you by Artsite.
✨There is no guarantee that you'll be able to be a curator this year even if you've been one in the past.
✨If you are looking to sell artwork at your exhibition, there will be a 10% cut towards Artsite to support future events.
✨Chosen curators will be given a budget of £200 towards making their exhibitions happen.
If you have any questions, please feel free to take a look through the website or direct message us on our socials or email. We'll try our best to get back to you quickly!
