If you’re unable to curate this year, there are still plenty of other ways to get involved with SWAF!

We’re always in need of people who are happy to volunteer and/or invigilate over the main festivities! If that sounds more like you, please fill in the form to be considered.

All of your information is safe and we will only contact you for the purposes of confirming times to vonlunteer of invigilate for SWAF2026.

Please be aware that SWAF2026 will be happening over two weeks between the 15th and 28th of June. Its helpful for Volunteers to help out with the following tasks:

  • Helping with exhibition set up (usually one week before the festival starts)

  • Taking art down (usually on the last day but depends on the venue)

  • Meeting visitors, being helpful and chatting with them about all of the exhibition happening in SWAF

  • Assisting curators with workshops

  • Recording how many people visit the exhibition space.

  • Encourage people to leave comments in feedback books.
